On 11 January, we successfully distributed aid to the Orang Asli families in Kampung Sebir π‘ While the distribution went smoothly, the stories we heard during our home visits weighed heavily on our hearts π
Behind each door were families living with leaking roofs, no proper rooms to sleep in, unstable income, and ongoing health struggles. Some shared that help is rare, and this aid brought relief, even if just for a short while π
π€ Thank you to Abang July for guiding us from home to home, and to the families who welcomed us so warmly and shared their stories with us β€οΈ These visits reminded us that aid is not just about food, itβs also about being seen and heard π₯°
π’ As we close this chapter in Kampung Sebir, our next mission is Kampung Belihoi. Weβre currently raising funds and aid bags to reach them next. One aid bag provides essential meals for a family πͺ
