At just 5 months old, 2-year-old Faqih was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that causes blindness.
His parents blamed themselves in deep despair. Ultimately, the family had to make the most heartbreaking decision: to surgically remove Faqihβs right eye π
Even after sacrificing so much, his situation remains critical. His left eye is now also affected, requiring long-term treatment to ensure the cancer cells do not spread to his body or brain.
Every follow-up review means a grueling 12-hour drive and a 2-to-3-day hospital stay. Coupled with his need for specialized formula milk, the family struggles to survive on the fatherβs meager monthly salary of RM1,700 πΈ
π― Therefore, we have launched a fundraising campaign with a target of RM28,800 to fully support Faqihβs ongoing treatment. We hope this 2-year-old boy can hold onto his last window to see the world.
We believe that kindness knows no race, and compassion knows no distance β€οΈ Please reach out and help Faqih, so this little boy won’t be plunged into darkness too soon.
