New Life Dialysis Centre
Patients suffering from kidney failure must undergo dialysis treatments 3 times a week, a regimen that poses a financial burden for those with limited income. The combined expense of each dialysis session and necessary injections can escalate from RM250 to RM600, leading some patients to reject treatment due to concerns about burdening their families financially.

Summary / Info about Dialysis Center
Kidney disease is a global health crisis, caused primarily by the chronic diseases of diabetes and/or hypertension (high blood pressure), with 16 per cent of the world population or 2.6 million patients needing dialysis treatments. A local study revealed that the prevalence of CKD in Malaysia was 15.48% in 2018, an increase compared to 2011 (CKD: 9.07%). Malaysia reported about a 13% annual increase of treated kidney failure cases in the last decade, the second-highest rise of the incidence rate worldwide.
