We were honoured to sit down with this popo during one of our community visits. Despite her age, she still spends her days collecting cans to earn a little income and support herself.

As we listened to her story, she shared how she was once falsely accused of stealing while working, an experience that left a deep wound in her heart. Yet instead of letting hardship define her, she chose to keep moving forward.

What touched us most was her determination not to burden her children. Even when life has not been kind to her, she continues to work as much as she can, relying on her own strength and resilience.

Before leaving, we handed her an aid bag filled with daily essentials, hoping to ease some of her burdens and remind her that she is not alone.
