Even in seemingly safe schools, danger can quietly grow. The tragic murder of 16-year-old Yap Xing Shuen in her Selangor school reminds us that unchecked bullying, obsession with violent media, and ignored warning signs can escalate into irreversible consequences 💔

🏫 The 14-year-old suspect was influenced by violent media and online communities that normalize aggression. His notebook referenced past school shootings and showed a distorted view of society, demonstrating how harmful media and social isolation can fuel violent intentions.

Perpetrators may act boldly while victims feel trapped in fear. When violence claims a life, it is not misbehavior, it is abuse and a crime ‼️
