Just a month ago, a heartbreaking animal cruelty incident took place in Jieyang, China. A stray mother dog named Wang Wang and her three puppies, who were only two weeks old, suffered unimaginable cruelty, leading to an irreversible tragedy 💔

This incident left many people angry, but it also made us reflect: when a child chooses to harm a helpless life, what does that choice reveal about the values they have learned?

The way the next generation understands life, treats the vulnerable, and develops empathy is shaped by many factors, the values taught at home, the lessons shared in schools, the content they encounter online, and the environment created by society 🌱

At New Life Animal Shelter, we believe rescuing stray animals is only the first step 🐶❤️ More importantly, we hope to create opportunities for more people, especially the younger generation, to experience and understand the lives of animals that have been abandoned or hurt. Through volunteer work, they learn to feed, care for, and accompany these animals, slowly realizing that every stray animal is not born to be unwanted. They are lives that deserve kindness and compassion.
