“If I could work, I would definitely do my best.”

Those words from this 60-year-old uncle stayed with us.

After surviving a fall from the third floor while working in elevator maintenance, he has been left with injuries that make it difficult for him to work and earn a living.

But his struggles go beyond his physical condition. He now lives alone, has no home of his own and has to face each day without a stable place to call home. Although life has become increasingly difficult, he does not want to trouble his sister or become a burden to her.

He still wishes he could work, give his best and provide for himself. Unfortunately, his body can no longer keep up with what his heart wants to do.

It is heartbreaking to see someone who is still willing to work and stand on his own feet, yet has so few options left.

We hope the care package we provided can at least ease some of his daily struggles and remind him that he has not been forgotten.
